So true! At some point I realized that I internalized the productivity obsession so much I stopped doing things just for the joy of doing them. But had to work really hard to silence the voice in my head that was telling me I’m wasting my time when I’m focusing on the process rather than the outcome.
I can relate to what you are saying so much. It is still a work in progress for me, as a mom there are 1000 things I could be doing, I should be doing and choosing a slower pace feels unnatural. It’s a journey to say the least.

I think I will never be free of that struggle, but grateful I realized it and try to do better which actually in this case means to do less…
